Nourished Communities

The Nourished Communities Grant Program supports local efforts that improve food security, increase access to nutritious food, and strengthen Cordova’s food system. Through a partnership between the Cordova Community Foundation and the Alaska Community Foundation, funding is available for projects that help ensure community members have reliable access to healthy food while supporting long-term, locally driven solutions. Whether through food distribution, community gardens, nutrition initiatives, harvesting programs, or other creative approaches, this program invests in a healthier and more resilient Cordova community. Projects may request funding up to $3,000.
