Gayle Groff has served as the Program Manager for the Cordova Community Foundation since 2020. The CCF Advisory Board is deeply grateful for Gayle’s dedication to ensuring CCF’s mission is met and for keeping the board motivated, organized, and well fed. Gayle has chosen to retire from her role as Program Manager as she takes on the important role of caretaker for her parents. The Advisory Board extends its sincere thanks and warmest wishes to Gayle for this next chapter.
The CCF Advisory Board has hired lifelong Cordova resident Gabrielle Brown as the incoming Program Manager. Gabrielle brings nonprofit management experience through her work founding the Mavis Island Project, a nonprofit created to care for and provide outdoor programming at Mavis Island. Gabrielle began her role as Program Manager in January 2026, working closely with Gayle to ensure a smooth transition. She is excited to step into this role in support of the Advisory Board’s mission and Cordova’s nonprofit community.
Please join us in thanking Gayle and welcoming Gabrielle at the Donor Appreciation & Grant Award Celebration on February 5 from 6–8 p.m. at The Pioneer. Hearty appetizers and dessert will be served. All are welcome to attend, celebrate, and learn more about the Cordova Community Foundation.
