Help Shape Cordova’s Future: Join the CCF Advisory Board

The Cordova Community Foundation (CCF) extends heartfelt thanks to Heidi Landeen for her years of service on the CCF Advisory Board. Heidi has been a thoughtful and steady presence, helping guide CCF’s work to support projects that strengthen life in Cordova.

Not long after moving to Cordova, Heidi learned about CCF and was drawn to the idea of building an endowment for the community. She became a monthly donor, then decided she wanted to give more than just financial support by serving on the Advisory Board. “I wanted to share with others the benefits of an endowment fund and how it will benefit Cordova for generations,” she shared.

Volunteer leadership is at the heart of CCF’s work. Advisory Board members help review grants, shape priorities, and ensure that local voices guide how funds are invested back into the community. Heidi’s contributions have been an important part of that effort, and we are deeply grateful for all she has given.

As we thank Heidi for her service, the Cordova Community Foundation is seeking a new Advisory Board member to join this work. This is an opportunity to support local projects, strengthen community connections, and help grow resources for Cordova’s future.

We are looking for individuals who care deeply about this community and are interested in supporting its long-term vitality. No prior board experience is required.

If you’re interested in learning more or would like to be considered, please reach out to cordova@alaskacf.org or any of the current board members: Kristin Smith, Alexis Cooper, Michelle Hahn, Bill Lindow, Lindsey Hammer, Galen Meyer, or Jake Borst.

Thank you, Heidi, for your service and for helping shape the impact of the Cordova Community Foundation.
